FLAMES Calculator
Enter two names to find out your relationship — Friends, Lovers, Affectionate, Marriage, Enemies, or Siblings!
What Is the FLAMES Game?
FLAMES is a popular childhood name-game played across India and South Asia. The acronym stands for Friends, Lovers, Affectionate, Marriage, Enemies, and Siblings. Players enter two names and use a counting method based on the letters in those names to determine a "relationship" between them. It's meant purely for fun — not a real relationship predictor!
How the FLAMES Calculator Works
The calculation follows these steps:
- Write both names and identify all letters that appear in both names (cancel out matching letters).
- Count the total number of remaining (uncancelled) letters from both names combined.
- Starting from F, count through F-L-A-M-E-S repeatedly using the letter count, eliminating the letter where the count stops each time.
- Continue counting from the next letter (skipping eliminated ones) until only one letter remains.
- The surviving letter reveals the "result" — F (Friends), L (Lovers), A (Affectionate), M (Marriage), E (Enemies), or S (Siblings).
What Does Each FLAMES Letter Mean?
F — Friends: You two are best friends. Great company and always there for each other. L — Lovers: A romantic connection! The heart wants what it wants. A — Affectionate: Warm and caring relationship filled with affection and fondness. M — Marriage: Destiny says you might end up together for life! E — Enemies: Opposites in every way — a rivalry or clash of personalities. S — Siblings: A family-like bond, protective and deeply caring.
